Integrating Principal Stress Lines into Mesh

I’m currently reading the paper titled “A low-carbon, funicular concrete floor system: design and engineering of the HiLo floors,” which describes how to generate a mesh using topology optimization. I’ve attempted to create a mesh that roughly follows the principal stress Lines using the “From Features” tool, but unfortunately, my attempt was unsuccessful. Is there a way to incorporate predefined lines into the mesh?

Sorry for the late reply.
So basically, I want to use lines as line features to create a specific pattern. I intend to use these lines for a rib-stiffened funicular floor system.
